If you want to make a presentation that people will listen to you will need to know about the audience. When you know your audience you can make your message a fit to interest them from the beginning. People are more likely to pay attention if they think what you are saying is important to them. Starting your presentation in a way is also very important like, you need to get people attention and tell them what you are going to talk about. This is what makes a presentation a persuasive presentation.
Organization is one of the important thing to keep in mind. A good presentation should have a structure that makes sense with a good start, strong main points and a finish that people will remember. The use of an examples, facts or some short stories to back your ideas can make many audience to believe you and understand what you are saying.
The way you communicate without words is very important if you want to persuade people. If you stand up straight and look people in the eye and use movements, with your hands and arms people are more likely to think you are credible and trustworthy. Speaking in a voice at a steady pace and putting emphasis on the right words can also make your message stronger. Organization and nonverbal communication and persuasion all go together to make a presentation that people will listen to.
Finally, ending with a call to action is crucial in a persuasive presentation. The goal could be to change an opinion encourage a decision or motivate action.
